Initial Consultation (Discovery Phase)

What Happens:  

  • The customer reaches out to us via phone, email, or a website form.  
  • We schedule a free, no-obligation consultation (in-person, virtual, or over the phone).  
  • During this meeting, we discuss the customer’s vision, goals, budget, and timeline for the project.  

What to Expect:  

  • We will  ask questions to understand your needs (e.g., style preferences, functionality, must-haves).  
  • We will provide an overview of our services and how our company works.  
  • The customer will receive an initial ballpark estimate (if possible) and a timeline for the next steps.

Project Assessment & Proposal

What Happens:  

  • Our team  or myself will visit the site to assess the space, take measurements, and evaluate any structural or logistical challenges.  
  • Based on the consultation and site visit, we create a detailed proposal.  

What to Expect:  

  • A written proposal that includes:  
  • Scope of work (what will be done).  
  • Estimated timeline.  
  • Cost breakdown (materials, labor, permits, etc.).  
  • Payment terms and schedule.  
  • An opportunity to review and ask questions about the proposal.

Design & Planning (if applicable)

What Happens:  

  • If the project requires design work (e.g., kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation), our  team creates detailed plans, 3D renderings, or sketches. Sometimes this team consists of other professionals as needed.
  • We collaborate with the customer to finalize the design, materials, and finishes.  

What to Expect:  

  • Multiple design options to choose from.  
  • Guidance on material selection (e.g., countertops, flooring, fixtures).  
  • Revisions to the design until the customer is fully satisfied. 

Permitting & Pre-Construction

What Happens:  

  • Our team handles all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.  
  • We finalize the project schedule and order materials.  

What to Expect:  

  • A clear timeline for when construction will begin.  
  • Communication about any delays (e.g., material backorders, permit processing).  
  • Preparation of the workspace (e.g., moving furniture, setting up protective coverings). 

Construction Phase

What Happens:  

  • Our team begins the remodeling work according to the agreed-upon plan.  
  • Regular updates are provided to the customer throughout the process.  

What to Expect:  

  • A dedicated project manager  or myself will oversee the work and answer questions.  
  • Daily or weekly progress reports (depending on the project size).  
  • Minimal disruption to the customer’s daily life (e.g., dust control, cleanup).  
  • Flexibility to address any unforeseen issues or changes (with clear communication).

Inspections & Quality Control

What Happens:  

  • Our team ensures all work meets building codes and quality standards.  
  • Any necessary inspections are completed and passed.  

What to Expect:  

  • A thorough walkthrough of the completed work.  
  • Opportunity for the customer to point out any concerns or touch-ups needed. 

Final Walkthrough & Project Completion

What Happens:  

  • We conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with the results.  
  • Any remaining touch-ups or adjustments are made.  

What to Expect:  

  • A clean, finished space ready for use.  
  • Documentation (e.g., warranties, care instructions for materials).  
  • Final payment is processed (if not already completed). 

Post-Project Follow-Up

What Happens:  

  • Our team follows up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the results.  
  • We address any additional questions or concerns.  

What to Expect:  

  • A commitment to customer satisfaction even after the project is complete.  
  • Availability for future projects or maintenance needs.
